Power latte Protein sludge

I have a new recipe for chocolate, peanut butter, and coffee lovers!!  

The Power Latte Protein Sludge

Now I know that idea of a protein sludge sounds different… definitely, gross…. probably, interesting… maybe??? But hear me out. This sludge is thick, creamy, and delicious!  And the best part is, there are only four ingredients, 318 calories, and 43g of protein. 

For this protein sludge, I used the LEAN BODY POWER LATTE. This protein powder has 35 grams of protein and 154mg caffeine (the same as a cup of coffee) which makes this perfect for a breakfast-on-the-go.  Now, the full serving of this protein powder calls for 2 scoops (70 g, 35grams of protein).  But I only used 1 scoop because it was all  that I left in the bucket. And one scoop is plenty to flavor this sludge, but use two scoops if you want to increase the protein content.  Once you mix in all the ingredients with the Greek Yogurt, you will end up with a SUPER THICK concoction, hence the name SLUDGE!  I added in 3 tablespoons of water, and my sludge was about the consistency of pudding. You may need more water if you use the full 70 g serving of protein powder. 

To create your sludge:::

1. Combine the protein powder, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and yogurt in a bowl. 

2. Mix VERY well.

3. Mix in water 1 tablespoon at a time, until your reach your desired consistency.

4. Garnish with chocolate chips, nuts, or whatever you want. Just remember, additional topping are additional calories.

You can eat this sludge in the evening as a delicious dessert or enjoy THE POWER LATTE PROTEIN SLUDGE in the morning, for a quick, filling, and delicious breakfast packed with protein and cup of coffee!
